Grade 2 Listed Courtyard Terrace Garden in Rural Essex

Aralia Landscape Architects were commissioned by residential clients to produce a plan for the courtyard terrace of this historical Essex family home following a major refurbishment to their property. Taking inspiration from the beautiful newly refurbished interior of the property; Aralia incorporated contemporary elements into the clean and elegant style of the garden. The clients expressed the importance of privacy so Aralia added a row of Pleached tree’s in order to frame the courtyard area, creating a green façade that allowed the instant privacy required.
