The co- working space in Amsterdam is inspired by the city itself. And all the crazy cyclist! The building in itself is imposing, providing for a fairly amusing background to start with. The usual I elements are there: telescopes, inspirational quotes, plants and greenery, giant cozy sofas, popcorn machines and wall art. Unique and funky, appealing to the masses, welcoming to all- the design is to uplift the everyday working life and bring some color into the monotony of the everyday routine.
The conference table is custom made, out of oak, and fitting with the patterned 3D floor design. Brown also goes very well with blue, thus the bright and rich blue color scheme in the back.
The recreational/ chill/ activity area is supposed to provide comfort as well as to brighten up the break. The central point, besides the gadgets and the games is a big cozy sofa for lounging. The dark walls are a great background for colorful details.
The kitchen area is a combination of wood in differential tones, brightened with the always trendy and youthful transparent ghost chairs- in high format.
The meeting room is bright and green and light. The dark wall is covered with inspirational art.
The meeting room plays with darker tones, and the darkness is cut through with a bright yellow rug. The wall art funnily mirrors the glass lamps in front of the same.
The most imposing area of the building is the long industrial space with glass walls opposite the dark alls with white symbolistic hand painted art and sitting ares for the masses- modern and geometric, industrial and rustic. All there is.
The dark tones of the wall and the chairs go together very well and give the whole space a serious note, a glamorous touch. The inspirational art graffiti is a must and the metallic tones uplift the space to a new level.
The gigantic wooden bar has a similar patter as the floor, and combined with the ghost chairs and the black walls, gives the industrial space an eclectic feel.
